Four-point contact ball slewing bearing is a kind of bearing that can bear axial load, overturning moment, and radial load at the same time. Under the action of axial load and overturning moment, almost all steel balls participate in the work of bearing the load. When only bearing pure axial load, the steel balls are in single-point contact with the raceways of the inner and outer rings. Some common contact ball-bearing models include FAG 7308-B-XL-TVP-UO, SKF 7220BEGAM, SKF 3320A, etc. When the bearing radial load exceeds a certain value, the steel ball and the raceway of the inner and outer rings are in two-point contact respectively, which will increase wear and friction torque. In order to adapt to different combinations of axial force, overturning moment, and radial force generated under different working conditions, the contact angle can be adjusted accordingly, and the precision can reach the P5/P4/P2 level.

Structure and Characteristics

The four-point contact ball slewing bearing is mainly composed of an inner ring, an outer ring, a single row of steel balls, a cage (or spacer block), a sealing device, and other parts. The inner and outer rings of four-point contact ball slewing bearings have integral and split structures. The rigidity of the integral ferrule is relatively strong, and the split type is easy to adjust. The split structure has connected the two split rings together by bolts before the product leaves the factory.This bearing is a split type, so the two bearings will be connected together before leaving the factory.
