Ball bearing is a kind of rolling bearing. The ball is installed in the middle of the inner steel ring and the outer steel ring, which can bear a large load. Also called ball bearing. Ball bearings are mainly composed of four basic elements: ball, inner ring, outer ring and retainer, also called cage or retainer.
Ball bearings are divided into deep groove ball bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, and thrust ball bearings.
Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used type of rolling bearing. It is characterized by low frictional resistance and high rotational speed. It can be used on parts that bear radial load or combined radial and axial loads at the same time, and can also be used on parts that bear axial load, such as low-power motors, Automobile and tractor gearboxes, machine tool gearboxes, general machines, tools, etc.
The self-aligning ball bearing has two structures of cylindrical hole and conical hole, and the material of the cage is steel plate, synthetic resin, etc. Main uses of self-aligning ball bearings: Suitable for precision instruments, low-noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles and general machinery, etc., and are the most widely used type of bearings in the machinery industry.
Thrust ball bearings are designed to withstand thrust loads during high-speed operation, and consist of washer-like ferrules with raceway grooves for ball rolling.
Angular Contact Ball Bearings can work at higher speeds. The larger the contact angle, the higher the axial load carrying capacity.
