1. Short time or intermittent operation

Such as household appliances, electric tools, agricultural machinery, and hoisting machines, the bearings of such machines must have a service life of 4,000-8,000 hours

2. Infrequently used but requires reliable operation

Such as home appliance air conditioner motors, construction machinery, belt conveyors, and elevators, the bearings of such machines must have a service life of 8,000-12,000 hours

3. Discontinuous but long-term operation

(1) Roll necks of rolling mills, small motors, and cranes. The bearings of such machinery must have a service life of 8,000-12,000 hours;

(2) The bearings of general-purpose motors and general gear devices in the factory must have a service life of 12,000-20,000 hours

(3) For machine tools, vibrating screens, and crushers, the bearings must have a service life of 20,000-30,000 hours

(4) For compressors, pumps, and important gear devices, the bearings must have a service life of 40,000-60,000 hours

4. Frequent operation or continuous long-term operation for more than 8 hours a day

(1) For escalators, the bearings must have a service life of 12,000-20,000 hours

(2) For centrifugal separators, air-conditioning equipment, blowers, woodworking machinery, and railway vehicle axles, the bearings must have a service life of 20,000-30,000 hours

(3) For large electric motors, mine hoists, railway vehicle motors, and rolling stock, the bearings must have a service life of 40,000-60,000 hours

5. 24-hour continuous trouble-free operation

The bearings of papermaking machinery must have a service life of 100,000-200,000 hours

For water supply equipment, power station equipment, and mine drainage equipment, the required service life of the bearings is 100,000-200,000 hours
