Outer ring

The outer ring serves to transition with the bearing housing, providing essential support. JRZC Bearings uses Gcr15 bearing steel for the outer ring, heat-treated to achieve a hardness of HRC60-64.

Inner ring

The inner ring of a bearing typically fits snugly and rotates with the shaft. At Jinyi Bearings, we commonly employ Gcr15 bearing steel for the inner ring, ensuring durability through heat treatment that achieves a hardness of HRC60-64.

Roller or ball

These steel balls, acting as rolling elements, are evenly arranged in the grooves between the inner and outer rings with the help of a cage. The shape, size, and quantity of these rolling elements directly influence the bearing's load-carrying capacity and overall performance. Typically made of bearing steel Gcr15, they undergo heat treatment to achieve a hardness of HRC61-66.

Cage

The cage not only evenly separates the rolling elements but also guides their rotation, enhancing internal lubrication performance. Cages can be categorized as metal or non-metal. Metal cages, commonly made of SPCC, brass, or bearing steel, are contrasted with non-metal cages, frequently crafted from materials like PA66.

Seal

To safeguard the bearing from external contaminants, such as dust and debris, a dust cover or seal is employed. Examples include rubber seals or stainless steel covers.

Lubricating grease

Lubricating grease is a critical component that facilitates smooth operation, reduces vibrations and noise, absorbs frictional heat, and ultimately extends the lifespan of the bearing.
