JRZC UCT205 is a slide-type pillow block bearing unit, precision-assembled from a UC205 pillow block ball bearing and a T205 slide-type bearing housing. A member of the UCT2 series, this product features a unique slide-housing design characterized by a linear slotted mounting base; it is particularly well-suited for applications requiring axial position adjustment on equipment frames. By integrating the bearing and housing into a single, ready-to-install unit, the UCT205 provides customers with a high-performance rotational support solution that is compact in structure, flexible in installation, and features automatic self-aligning capabilities.
| Shaft diameter | 25 mm |
| Housing overall width | 32 mm |
| Bearing width, total | 34 mm |
3. Are the bearing and housing of the UCT205 interchangeable?
Yes. The bearing and housing of a mounted bearing unit are interchangeable. If the bearing becomes abnormal, it can be replaced individually while keeping the housing in service.
Bearing model: UC205
Housing model: T205
4. What should be noted when installing the UCT205?
Correct installation is crucial. The key steps and precautions are as follows:
Before installation:
Check the base rigidity, flatness of the mounting surface, and shaft dimensional tolerance (recommended h7 or j6 tolerance).
Clean the shaft and housing mounting surfaces, removing burrs and contaminants.
Apply a thin layer of lubricating oil to the shaft surface to facilitate installation.
During installation:
Insert the mounted bearing unit onto the shaft and place it in the designated position.
Do not fully tighten the housing mounting bolts initially, allowing the bearing to rotate freely within the housing.
After installing the bearing on the other end of the same shaft, rotate the shaft several times to allow the bearings to self-align, compensating for possible coaxiality errors.
Tighten the housing mounting bolts to the specified torque using a torque wrench.
Tighten the inner ring set screws evenly to the specified torque (4 N·m).
After installation:
Manually rotate the shaft to check whether the bearing rotates smoothly without sticking.
Check for abnormal noise or vibration.
5. Does the UCT205 require maintenance? How is relubrication performed?
Yes. Regular maintenance can significantly extend bearing service life.
Lubrication interval:
Normal conditions: Add grease every 3–6 months
Harsh environments (dusty, humid, high temperature): Add grease every 1–3 months
Lubrication method:
Clean the grease fitting and the surrounding area, open the grease cap, and clean the grease nipple.
Clean the grease gun and fill it with clean grease (recommended lithium-based grease NLGI No.2).
Replenish grease through the grease fitting (M6) installed on the bearing housing using the grease gun.
During relubrication:
It is recommended to rotate the shaft by hand (or run the bearing at low speed) while adding grease.
This helps distribute the new grease evenly inside the bearing.
Finally, clean the excess grease around the fitting and reinstall the grease cap.
